What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for pages and forms to work at all; others help us understand how the site is being used. Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we only set non-essential cookies once you have agreed to them.

Essential cookies (always on)

These keep the website working — remembering your cookie choice, keeping the booking and enquiry forms secure, and keeping Rob signed in to the admin area. They store no marketing information and cannot be switched off, because the site will not work without them.

• ddb-cookie-consent — remembers whether you accepted analytics cookies (stored for 12 months).
• Session / security cookies — set by our hosting and booking system for the duration of your visit.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you choose "Accept all cookies", we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages visitors read, roughly where in the country they are, and which pages lead to enquiries. This tells us what to improve. We never send your name, email address, phone number or the contents of your message to Google.

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics, used to distinguish visitors and measure sessions (up to 2 years).

Advertising cookies

We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Google Consent Mode is set to deny advertising storage on every page.
